Carter Properties
Carter Properties is a family-owned business that specializes in Real Estate Investment, Management, Development, and Leasing, that was founded by Miles Carter in 1962. He was a machinist at Euclid Road Machinery when he decided he wanted to try real estate on the side. He dedicated the next 50+ years of his life to building and sustaining Carter Properties. Miles was the definition of a hands-on owner, attending to the smallest of details daily.
Miles began by purchasing an 11-suite apartment building in Cleveland. He spent years growing the residential portfolio of properties, eventually moving into commercial real estate where he developed and purchased multi tenant shopping plazas.
The business continues today through his son John and grandson Dan.
